The Sun has gone dark and is getting cold. People begin to move underground to try to get closer to geothermal heat. Leading the way are a brave group of digger explorers.
The earth deviates from the original revolution orbit, and it is getting farther and farther away from the sun. What's worse, other planets block most of the sun's light, and the earth has been shrouded in darkness and cold for a long time.
People began to expand underground city in order to exploit the heat of the earth's core to escape the severe cold.
Society & Culture
Human beings have moved and settled in the underground city for nearly decades. Due to the increasingly harsh environment and the continuous growth of population, human beings urgently need to explore and expand more underground living space.
The underground city has thus formed a new social structure: the elderly and children can get more heat from the earth when they live in the lower floors, while the intellectuals and the elite live in the middle floors to maintain the order of the underground city and make decisions for the future of mankind. Most of the manual workers and soldiers live at the top. They can easily shuttle between the surface and the underground city to obtain more resources or participate in the expansion plan.
